New illustration for River Styx Magazine.

This blog has been sadly neglected over the past year, but I am hoping to fix that in the coming months with new posts and work from the recent past that I have only recently managed to upload. Check back in later. I'll still be here.

Airport drawings

I haven't had as much time so far this year for on-site drawing as I would like. So far the best work I've done is from airports:

And I've been fortunate to visit some pretty cool places. That's Book Mesa in Grand Junction, Colorado, and some of the mountains outside Portland Oregon below. A series of drawings of the deserts of the Southwest U.S. is on my long-term bucket list.

Treme

This drawing is from a little while ago. I went to Mardi Gras in New Orleans at the beginning of this year and I have been working on fleshing out some sketches of things I saw while I was there.

There are three illustrations of mine in the new issue of River Styx Literary Magazine.

Food and Health

Here are a couple of images I made for a presentation on food deserts and healthy vs. unhealthy eating environments. Can you tell which one is unhealthy? Probably not, right?
